In a partnership between Gryphon Place and Integrated Services of Kalamazoo the Kalamazoo L.O.S.S. Team was launched in early 2024. A L.O.S.S. (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) Team works with Law Enforcement and the Victim Services Unit to provide support for survivors immediately or soon after their loss. At least one L.O.S.S. team member is a survivor of suicide loss and the newly bereaved often connect strongly with them. We provide support for loss survivors in various ways as they move forward in their journeys. We offer information on support groups, helpful books, ways to heal and how to move forward.
