Gryphon Place is the coordinating body for the Kalamazoo County Response Consortium (KCRC). KCRC is a collaboration of nonprofits, government agencies, and local businesses that work to ensure efficient and effective response to the greater Kalamazoo community in times of emergency, crisis, or disaster. The KCRC is supported by the Community Resilience Program, a new initiative created by Gryphon Place in partnership with United Way of Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region, and funded through the United Way of Battle Creek and Kalamazoo Region’s Disaster Relief Fund.

If you are interested in supporting your community during this time, you can make donations to the Disaster Relief Fund. The Disaster Relief Fund aims to ensure resources for planning in times of stability and for recovery when disaster strikes. Dollars are directed to 501(c)3 organizations for use that may include direct services, coordination of relief efforts, coordination of disaster relief volunteers, and costs related to building and sustaining disaster relief infrastructure.
